SUBJECT:
S. 2667 - An Act to Extend the
Emergency Petroleum Allocation
11/17
Act of 1973
Attached for your consideration is S. 2667, which
amends the Emergency Petroleum Allocation Act of 1973
to extend the authorities of that Act for 30 days,
from November 15, 1975 to December 15, 1975.
As you indicated to the Republican leadership in your
meeting last night, this 30-day extension would provide
time for consideration of the omnibus energy bill agreed
upon by House-Senate conferees earlier this week.
Veral clearances have been received from Commerce, OMB,
Frank Zarb, Max Friedersdorf, Bill Seidman and the
Counsel's Office. I also recommend approval of the
enrolled bill.
RECOMMENDATION
That you sign S. 2667 at Tab A.
