Ford Presidential Library PRESIDE TAPED RADIO MESSAGE FOR SOUTH DAKOTA PRIMARY THIS IS PRESIDENT FORD IN THIS BICENTENNIAL YEAR, I BELIEVE THAT AMERICANS OF ALL POLITICAL PERSUASIONS -- DEMOCRATS, REPUBLICANS AND INDEPENDENTS ALIKE -- SHARE A RENEWED INTEREST IN THE WAY OUR COUNTRY IS GOVERNED IN SOUTH DAKOTA, YOU AND YOUR NEIGHBORS HAVE AN EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY TO DO YOUR PART BY PARTICIPATING IN THE STATE-WIDE PRIMARY THAT WILL BE HELD ON JUNE FIRST.
