Dr. Henry Kaplan, a leading expert on Hodgkins disease, said the approach was "absolutely unique" and would produce little or no damage to nearby healthy organs or tissue. The device is designed for use on cancers of the mouth and throat, certain tumors of the brain and lungs and those which presently resist conventional radiation. ------------------------- New, Summary Old Timers Bid Fox Farewell Jan.24, Washington (UPI) -- Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis sent a 75 telegram and White House social secretaries and press secretaries dating back to the Truman era showed up Friday for Betty Ford's farewell party for Sanford Fox, retiring chief of the Presi- dential Entertainment Office.
