NOTICE TO THE PRESS
President Ford today released his official photograph which will be displayed
in government buildings and embassies in the United States and around the
world.
The color photograph was made by David Hume Kennerly, personal photo-
grapher to President Ford, in the Oval Office of the White House.
The cost of lithographing 36,000 copies of the four-color photo is about
$6,400.00 and will be paid for by the Republican National Committee.
For the technically minded, Kennerly used a Nikon camera with an 85 mm
lens. The picture was made at 1/60th of a second at F/4 on Kodak High
Speed Ektachrome film rated at 160 ASA.
