NOTICE TO THE PRESS
Participants in the 12:45 P. M. Meeting with the President:
William A. Anders, 40, Chairman. He has been an AEC Commissioner
since July 1973. From 1969 to 1973 he was Executive Secretary of the
National Aeronautics and Space Council. He served with NASA from
1964 until 1969. This service included flight on Apollo 8.
Dr. Victor Gilinsky, 40. He has been the head of the Physical
Sciences Division of Rand Corporation in Santa Monica, California.
He has also been an employee and consultant of the Atomic Energy
Commission.
Richard T. Kennedy, 54. He has been Deputy Assistant to the President
for National Security Council Planning. Previously, he served with
the NSC as Director of Planning and Coordination.
Dr. Edward A. Mason, 50. He has been the Chairman of the
Department of Nuclear Engineering at MIT. He has been in that
department since 1957.
Marcus A. Rowden, 46. He has been the general counsel of the Atomic
Energy Commission since May 1973 and an employee of AEC since
1958. He is an alumnus of the University of Michigan and a member
of the Michigan State Bar Association.
