NOTICE TO THE PRESS
The President today announced the designation of William E. Simon,
Secretary of the Treasury, as Chairman of the East-West Foreign
Trade Board and L. William Seidman, Assistant to the President for
Economic Affairs, as Deputy Chairman.
The East-West Foreign Trade Board was established by Executive Order
11846, of March 27, 1975.
The Board is composed of nine members and those additional members
that the President may designate from the Executive Branch.
The President designates the Chairman and the Deputy Chairman.
