THE WHITE HOUSE
EXECUTIVE ORDER
WAIVER UNDER THE TRADE ACT OF 1974
WITH RESPECT TO THE SOCIALIST
REPUBLIC OF ROMANIA
By virtue of the authority vested in me by section
402(c) (1) of the Trade Act of 1974 (Public Law 93-618,
January 3, 1975; 88 Stat. 1978, 2057), and having made
the report to the Congress required by that provision,
I hereby waive the application of subsections (a) and
(b) of section 402 of said Act with respect to the
Socialist Republic of Romania.
