THE WHITE HOUSE
The President today announced the appointment of four persons as
members of the Board of Foreign Scholarships for terms expiring
September 22, 1977. They are:
Monroe D. Dansker, of Fort Lee, New Jersey,
Professor of Mathematics, Courant Institute of
Mathematical Sciences, New York University, New
York, He succeeds Anne Pannell Taylor whose term
has expired.
Lane Dwinell, of Lebanon, New Hampshire, Chairman,
of the Board of the National Bank of Lebanon, Lebanon,
New Hampshire. This is a reappointment.
Donald S. Lowitz, of Glencoe, Illinois, Associate, law
firm of Aaron, Aaron, Schimberg & Hess, Chicago,
Illinois. This is a reappointment.
Robert Endicott Osgood, of Chevy Chase, Maryland,
Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies,
Washington, D.C. He succeeds James R. Roach whose
term has expired.
The Board elects its own chairman.
The Board was created for the purpose of selecting students, scholars,
teachers, trainees, and other persons to participate in the educational
exchange programs created under the law.
