NOTICE TO THE PRESS
The President today announced his intention to nominate Robert B.
Fiske, Jr., of Darien, Connecticut, to be United States Attorney
for the Southern District of New York. He will succeed Paul J.
Curran who resigned October 31, 1975.
Mr. Fiske is a partner in the law firm of Davis, Polk and Wardell
in New York, New York.
A biographical sketch is attached.
