NOTICE TO THE PRESS
The President will make a statement inthe briefing room this
morning at 11:00 a. m. The President's statement will be available
for film and sound.
At 12 noon there will be a briefing in EOB-450 on the Economic
Summit meeting in Puerto Rico by Secretary Kissinger, Secretary
Simon and Economics Adviser Alan Greenspan. The briefing
will be on the record
NOT available for film and sound.
White House passholders should use the 17th Street entrance.
Those without White House passes who wish to attend should call
Gail Campbell at 456-2100 for clearance. Additional background
material will be available in the Press Room about 11 a. m.,
embargoed for release until 12 noon.
Because of the heavy schedule through the noon hour, Press Secretary
Ron Nessen does not plan to hold a briefing today, but we will be
posting any announcements at 10:00 a. m. and/or 3:30 p.m.
