PATRICK ROWLAND
Biographical Data
Patrick Rowland, of El Monte, California, will serve as Special Assistant
for Legislative Affairs (House of Representatives). He has been a consultant
in the office of Max L. Friedersdorf since April 5, 1976.
Born on July 12, 1937, in El Monte, California, Mr. Rowland received his
B.S. degree from the University of Southern California in 1959 and his M.B.A.
in 1960 from USC.
In 1961, Mr. Rowland joined the El Monte Chamber of Commerce as its manager
and later became the Director for Congressional Action of the Chamber of
Commerce of the United States in Washington, D.C. in 1967. From 1969 to
October 1975, he was Administrative Assistant to Congressman Charles E.
Wiggins of California. He became Vice President for Congressional Affairs
for the Glass Container Manufacturers Institute in October 1975 prior to joining
the White House staff in April.
Mr. Rowland is married to the former Annette Patton and they have four
children. They reside in Vienna, Virginia.
