NOTICE TO THE PRESS
On Sunday, September 12, 1976, the President will attend 11:00 a.m. services
at the Washington National Cathedral during which the Archbishop of
Canterbury, the Most Reverend and Right Honorable Frederick Donald Coggan
will dedicate the nave.
The President will depart the White House at 10:45 a.m. The travel pool
accompanying the President has been posted, and should assemble in the
Press Room at 10:30 a. m.
There will be no photo coverage inside the Cathedral, but the writing members
of the pool will attend the service.
There will be open coverage of the departure of the President, the Archbishop
of Canterbury, and the Very Reverend Francis B. Sayer, Jr., Dean of the
Washington National Cathedral from the South Transept at about 12:00 p.m.
