Digitized from Box 31 of the White House Press Releases at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library September 26, 1976 POOL REPORT TO FISHERMAN'S WHARF IN BILOXI, MISS. The President drove to Fisherman's Wharf, a small red painted restaurant sitting out in the harbor where Representative Gil Carmichael, former candidate for governor in Mississippi, met him in the parking lot. The President and group of Republican dignitaries went into the air-conditioned dining room to help themselves to a seafood buffet. Regular customers looked up from their meals to watch the President serve himself. Pool being fed at the back terrace. Ann Compton - Pooler # # #
