Cadieux: He is very well. Between elections he was in a very difficult position. President: Yes. Like Wilson. Cadieux: It is much more comfortable now. have taken these non-inflationary moves. President: We tried to tailor them so they wouldn't be solely oriented to the US but to the world. There has been a good reception - -- but also some NARA, DATE 5/6/04 criticism. Cadieux: When you benefit, we do automatically. We are pleased that you STATE President: We had double-digit inflation and interest rates were exceptionally high. We didn't want a recession so we didn't want to make it too deflationary, and yet it couldn't be too stimulating. So we think we hit it about right.
