WASHINGTON.
December 16, 1901.
My dear Sir:
By direction of the President I beg to send you
the accompanying papers in behalf of the re-appointment
of Mr. Chasles A. Orr as pension agent for the western
district of New York.
The President requests that nomination papers
be made out designating Mr. Orr for appointment
to the place mentioned.
