My dear Mr. Secretary:
Enclosed I send you a communication and accom-
panying papers from Senator Levi Ankeny in behalf
of the appointment of Mr. Alfred C. Steinman as Re-
ceiver of Public Moneys at North Yakima, Wash.
If there is no objection on the part of your
Department the President directs that a nomination
for Mr. Steinman be sent over.
