I hope I was not presumptuous, but I took the liberty of passing on to the Director of the Georgia Forestry Commission and the President of the Augusta Optimist Club your expression of thanks and appreciation for the Certificate. I see Norm White from time to time. We often see each other at lunch at the Capital City Club. He called a few weeks ago and asked Margo and me to join them for dinner to celebrate Annie's birthday. Do not know how many. The information was not volunteered and I did not ask. However, she is a very delightful and pretty woman. Norm is a fine person also and very ambitious, energetic and successful. We had a fine time. As we are all Democrats we could talk about anything. Henry Talge wrote to me and said that a Memorial luncheon is planned in Cousin Harry's honor on May 7th at the Muehlebach Hotel. Evidently Crown Center is opening on May 8th SO those in charge of the luncheon did not want a conflict between the two functions. I have told him I would be present.
