Meeting with the President
Item 1. UN Delegation
We discussed the delegation to the United Nations General
Assembly in the light of the troublesome questions which may
be before this meeting of the Assembly such as Korea, dis-
armament, Tunisia, Morocco and possibly Iran. The President
reached no final conclusion and suggested we discuss the mat-
ter further on Monday. He is favorably inclined toward the ap-
pointment of Mr. Waymack as an alternate but wishes to con-
sider further this and some other appointments.
