September 28, 1953. Dear Mr. Perkinst I am very sorry to say that I made a mistake in the date of the next meeting at Princeton in the memorandum which Mr. Acheson wrote for that meeting. It should have read#October 10-11 Meetings" in accordance with the memorandum of dates sent out by the Institute for Advanced Study, rather than #October 9-10 Meetings. It now seems as though Mr. Acheson will not be able to get from Yale to Princeton on Saturdays quite so early as he had hoped; but will be coming down from New Haven and taking a 3:00 p.m. train from New York, Penn Station, which train arrives at Princeton Junction at 3:55 p.m. He will get off there rather than at Trenton. The meeting will probably start about 4:30, instead of #:00. I thought this might be of help to you in making your plans for coming to Princeton. Sincerely yours, ARCHIVEGNAL AND US SERVICES The Honorable George W. Perkins, 342 Madison Avenue, New York 17, N. Y.
