Dear Miss Evans:
Thank you for your letter of July 15th. Our
records do tally: we have the reels from the February and
March sessions, and the first four reels of the May session.
We also have the carbons of the December session, which I
am holding for Dr. Oppenheimer. He is now in the Virgin
Islands with his family for a few weeks, and since you feel
no sense of hurry about having the carbons I shall keep
them for his return. If we have finished transcribing the
February and March sessions before his return (which we do
expect to do) I shall hold the carbons of those too.
