Dear Mr. Howes:
Replying to your letter of February
Twenty-eighth, I wish to recommend the reappoint-
ment of Mr. Edgar G. Hinde as postmaster at
Independence, Missouri, upon the expiration of
his present term of office on June 26, 1939.
Mr. Hinde is the best postmaster my
home town has ever had, and his reappointment
will meet with the approval of the majority of
the patrons.
