Dear Heinie:
Appreciate very much your good letter of the Twenty
Second, and I have read it two or three times.
I think you have the situation properly diagnosed.
Some of us have been unmercifully sold down the river,
but that does not help the situation one little bit
so far as we are concerned.
When I come home I am going to get three or four of
our good fellows together and discuss the whole situ-
ation.
I just received a letter from Perry in which he said
you told him something to say to me, but he couldn't
put the words in writing. Well, here they are right
back at you.
