WASHINGTON
October 13, 1947
Dear Edgar:
I certainly appreciated your sending me the
first machine stamped letter to go through
the Independence Post Office.
I'll be most happy when we reach that stage
of button pushing that you refer to. That
situation has not yet arrived anywhere near
my own office - I still work from daylight to
dark and half the night in order to keep ahead
of the hounds. This is the first time I haven't
had a chance to come home in I don't know when.
I never had such a busy time.
Remember me to all the gang.
Sincerely/yours,
Honorable Edgar G. Hinde
