AFFIDAVIT. STATE OF MISSOURI ( ) SS. COUNTY OF JACKSON. ( I, Oliver M. Solinger, being duly sworn upon my oath, state that I am the Solinger formerly employed by the firm of Truman & Jacobson, Haberdashers, 104 West 12th Street, Kansas City, Missouri, from which position I was discharged on March 27th,1920. I further state that while in the employ of Truman & Jacobson, I embezzled and took from the Cash Register on Fri- day, March 26th,1920, from various sales, the sum of Eight Dol- lars ($8.00). I admit I had no right to take said money and that none of it belonged to me and upon being confronted with the proof of my taking same I wish to confess my guilt of the theft of the said money. I make this affidavit voluntarily with the full understanding that it may be used against me in a prosecution. am Silinger Subscribed and sworn to before me this day of March, 1920. My commission expires, Notary Public in-and for Jackson County, Missouri.
