Part I is orgalized to, show all the offerings in eac.) of the nigher institutions in the 17 acadenic rè ions in France. Part II is by suojects so that a student interested in one area of education can readily see in which of several institutions it would be possible to study. A key appears which indicates by numbers and letters: the academie where the institution is located; the adminis- trative affiliation--whether national, private and recognized by the government, or private and not at present recognized by the ;overnment; and the organizational category to which the institution belongs in the university or i.1 an Lastitution of higher learning outside the university. Miss Edith Kahler, the author of this pampilet, was for three years a member of the staff in French Cultural Relations, Ministere des Afraires Etrangeres in France where she assisted forei in students Who secured. scholarships in France and French students who applied for forei in scholar- ships.
