Educators are increasingly aware of the important part good
mental healtn plays in the school experiences of children and their
teacners. A classroom which is free of tension a..d of fear is not
only a f'avorable climate for child growth, it is a prerequisite. to
learning. Since children reflect the mental health of persons who
are near them, teachers and pärents should recognize their own strengths
and weaknesses and should continuously strive to improve their attitudes
and relations with others.
