I note by your letter that you had shut down the Kill, and had gone home to raise more money to eon- tinue work. Also note that if you did not succeed, you would be down to see me. I received your letter on last Friday I think, and as you did not come over on Sunday or Monday, I supposed you was running again, and on Tuesday of this week I went over to Mismi and went immediately out to the Mill, but found no one there, and the place still looked up. I learned from Jack Henderson that you have been down Two weeks ago last Wednesday, Now I dont know what the Frosty Morning Mining will do with us for being down so long, and whether they will feel inelined to Forfeit on us or not, but I would be serry for them to cause you any trouble. 1 wish that you would get started again for the good of all parties concerned, and Lead is advancing in price, and I would like to see you getting the benefit of these prices, and from what Lon Edwards told me the Ground BOSS Stephens told him you have some pretty good Lead ground. I would be glae to hear from you on receipt of this, and to know how you getting along, and about when you intend to start up, Mr Bigham tole me on Tuesday Eve that the Lead Cheek had not COME in yet. Please keep me posted on how you are getting along, and to your intentions so that I may govern myself accordingly.
