1. Regimental and Battalion Intelligence Officers should
not be used for duties other than those prescribed for such
officers, except in emergency, and such officers must not be
relieved of their duties until their Commanding Officer has
consulted G-2 of these Headquarters
2. The Division Engineer at Lerouville is prepared to
issue limited quantities of lumber, nails, tar paper and
electrical supplies.
Unserviceable electric light bulbs will be exchanged for
serviceable,
Requisitions will be approved by Commanding Officers of
Units concerned.
3. The greatest economy and care will be taken of
pnoumatic tires and tubes or in the near future it willibe
necessary to lay up transportation for the want of same, part-
icularly of Ford sizes.
All unnecessary travelling of Ford cars should be eliminated.
All spare tires not amply protected by tire covers or spare
rims will be carried inside OF vehicle.
4. It has been reported that due to active operations the
records of organizations are not up to date and in bad condition.
The reasons for this condition are fully appreciated but now
that active operations have ceased, all commanders will take the
necessary action to immediately bring all their records up to
date,
