I. REPORT FROM ACTING TOWN MAJORS
All Acting Town Majors will immediately report to the R. R. &
C. Offtcer, Hesdquarters 35th Division, what factories, mills and
business establishmonts which are ready to resumo peace time
netivity, and are now occupied by Amorican troops, which can be
vocated withcut affecting the operation of the organization
occupying it, or the wolfare and comfort of the troops. Whore no
such buildings are being occupied by troops within the jurisdiction
of any Acting Town Major, or whore if such buildings are so occupied
they connot be vacnted at this time for the reasons ebove stated,
tho se facts will be reported in Jike mannor.
II. AUTHORIZED DUMP FOR REPUSE
The only authorized dump for Commorey is located one quarter
of C. milo from Commercy on the road to Lerouville. An enlisted
mon of the Military Polioe stationed at this dumo will supervise
propor dumping and the prectice of promiscuous dumping of garbage,
refuse and debris in ther aumps and locations will cease at once.
III.
NAMES OF MECHANIOS, ETC.
Regimental and Separate Unit Commanders will report to these
Hondqunrters wi [ thout deley, the nemes of competent automobile
mechanics, welders, blecksniths and machinists in their organizations
whose services are not being utilized in these enpacities, with a
view to transferring them to the Motor Transport Corps to replace
the men now on duty with that brannh who have no knowledge of their
work.
IV. USE OF SIDE CARS
Side cars will be used for hauling passengers only, and
only one passenger at a time. No freight will be carried in side
cars.
V. UNIFORMS
On Sunday, Jangary 26th, 1919, Mr. Burt, an English tailor;
will be at the 2nd Army School for Care and Management of Animals,
COMMERCY, at about 10:00 A.M. Mr. Burt comes as the representative
of Meyer and Mortimer of Peris, who are the European representatives
of Alfred Nelson, 261 Fifth Avenue, New York City. Their clothing
is quite expensive, but extremely smart, perticulerly as to brecchJ8.
He will also return to COMMERCY for fittings. This notice is beimg
sent out in en effort to secure enough orders to make the trip worte
while for their ropresentative as it was with much difficulty that
arrangements were made for him to come here,
