SETTLEMENT OF OUTSTANDING BILLS The Commanding Ceneral directs that commanding officers of all organizations, and officers of this division, settle all out- standing bills and accounts by February 5th, and thereafter make purchases for cash only. II. INSPECTIOL OF COMPANY RECORDS The Commanding Ceneral directs that each regimental and separate organization commander appoint an officer, preferably of field rank, and an expert on company records, and as much other assistance as the officer so appointed may call for, to inspect company records in order that all necessary corrections may be made as soon as possible. III. WEEKLY STATEMENT OF SHOES REQUIRED. Unit supply 01 ficers will submit to the Division Quarter- master at Least once a week a statement of the number and sizes of shoes required in their orgenization at that date regardless of any requisitions on file at the time statement is made. IV, REPORT REQUIRED BY PROVOST MARSHAL Commanding Officers of regiments and separate units will submit a daily report to the Division A.P.M. of all A.W.O.L'S. in their organization, giving name, rank and organization, date of leaving orgenization and full description. Also a report of number of A.W.O.L'S. rejoined. These réports will be sent by courier from each regiment and separate unit each day So that the information may be Y ohoned to the Corps by 5:00 P.M. that day. It is reported that the weekly disciplinary reports from regiments and separate uni ts do not come in in proper form. These reports should give name, rank, and organiza tion, date of leaving organization and full description; and should be forwarded to reach the Office of the Division A.P.M. by at least 3:00 P.M. each Saturday. V. PARTITIONS BETWEEN BEDS In connection with the par&graph of sanitary order re- quiring head-to-foot sleeping, it has been decided that partitions properly arranged between beds will be a satisfactory ilternative. VI. LEAVES 2 Loaves of absence or furloughs extending beyond February A 4th will not be grented. (over)
