IX. 1 LSCELLANECTS. At 5:45h an enemy patrol appeared in front of G.C.2, LANHEULLES, s/s BOUME. Our men opened fire killing one non-'commissioned officer and forcing the patrol to withdraw. The body of the non-commissioned officer was brought into our lines and identifications secured. Unusual number of flares from vicinity of : ORANVILLE Woods. (over)
