From: comm. officer, and. Bn. 189th. F. A.
: and
TO: Comm. Officer 129th. F. A.
subject: Reconnisance of Battery position and Battalion P.C.
(2). I have today redoncitered positions for my three
batteries and for a battalion P.C. The following battery
positions have been selected D Battery 36-74, E Battery 39-74
F Battery 8-79, I
(3). It will be necessary for E Battery, to use the
position 41-75, which are near at hand. This later
position was not selected for E Battery, because it proved to be
a pesition for SO or heavery and 75 could not fire from the
implacemente.
(3). Battalion P.C. was located es per your memorandum
at 37-33. This is nothing: lixe as good a P.C. as the one I
now occupy, but I believe the distent from my present p.c. is to
great, to handle the battalion in ite new positions, particularly
in view, of the fact, that the supplies of telephone wire is BO
limited.
(4). I am badly in nesd of additional telephone wire, to
establish comunication in the nsw pésition.
