I. J day and H hour referred to in Par.l,Field Order No.16,
Headquarters, 129th Field Artillery, will be as follows:

lst November, 1918
H hour
5:30 A.M.
II. A courier will be sent to Battalion Headquarters of lst
and 3nd Battalion, 139th F.A., between the hours of o and 1, November
lst, 1918 with the correct time.
Battery Commanders will have couriers at Battalion Head-d-
quarters at this time with stop watahes to be synchronized.
III Battery commanders, if possible, will use the proportions
of 331/3% shrapnel and 66 2/3% Normal in this mission. Where prac-
ticable the shrapnel will be out to a 2 mil height of burst. This
will be left to the direction of the Battalion commanders.
IV. Upon receipt of this order Battalion commanders will re-
port ite receipt by telephone to these Headquarters using code
Communication received O.K.".
