Careful\nstudy of the Infontry Drill Regulations and Dismounted Drill for Field\nArtillery will be stade in order to insure the utmoes If coision in the ex-\nscution of all movements.\nNon-hommiscioned Officers.\nwill attend all drills with or ganisations.\nSpecialists\nwill continue to be drilled with the Hägre. Co. eur & unit.\nBatteries will be supervised by Bn. Commanders when particular attention will\nbe päid to personal classliness, condition of clothing and equipment as\nto cleanliness, adjustment; boaring of nen in ranks.\nDrill - The morning drill period for all sen will be devoted to a road march\nof at loast 8 kilometers. Btry Communders will any out merches in the\nvicinity of their awas so as to diversify the routen each day. Merches\nto be made without the pack. The afternoon drill period for\nwill cover the follow inc subjects: Clos a order drill - 2 hour.\n(Starting 10 1th the School of the Goldier and progressing to Stry. drill.\nParticular attention will be paid to precision of execution. Monday as-\nternoon drill period - 111 be devoted entirely to instruction and drill\nin preparing the pack for inspection. (See para. 767 Infantry Drill Regu-\nlations extract herewith attached. Athletic exercises for two periods of\n16 minuten each during the afternoon drill periol Thase exercises shall\nconsist of the O'Grady and setting-up-exercisss.\nInspections:- Daily inspection of billets, Intrines, kitchens, stables and\neurroundings will be made by Btry. Commander. One officer from ench Btry\nwill inspect the mania and supervise the issue of #nto to determine the\nsuitability 0.8 to quality and quantity. The surgeons * 111 inspect latrines\nbillots, kitchens, etc. reporting to this office to hother Excellent, Good\nFair, etc. For Saturday morning inspection the packs will be Inyed out for\ninspection according to pera. 747 I. D. R.\nBand - One day each week in the afternoon the Band W 111 be eent to the Bn.\nalternately for sotice in playin both on the march and at the halt.The\nBand will practice daily in addition thereto.\nBy order of Colonel Smith:\nRoger T.
