Careful study of the Infontry Drill Regulations and Dismounted Drill for Field Artillery will be stade in order to insure the utmoes If coision in the ex- scution of all movements. Non-hommiscioned Officers. will attend all drills with or ganisations. Specialists will continue to be drilled with the Hägre. Co. eur & unit. Batteries will be supervised by Bn. Commanders when particular attention will be päid to personal classliness, condition of clothing and equipment as to cleanliness, adjustment; boaring of nen in ranks. Drill - The morning drill period for all sen will be devoted to a road march of at loast 8 kilometers. Btry Communders will any out merches in the vicinity of their awas so as to diversify the routen each day. Merches to be made without the pack. The afternoon drill period for will cover the follow inc subjects: Clos a order drill - 2 hour. (Starting 10 1th the School of the Goldier and progressing to Stry. drill. Particular attention will be paid to precision of execution. Monday as- ternoon drill period - 111 be devoted entirely to instruction and drill in preparing the pack for inspection. (See para. 767 Infantry Drill Regu- lations extract herewith attached. Athletic exercises for two periods of 16 minuten each during the afternoon drill periol Thase exercises shall consist of the O'Grady and setting-up-exercisss. Inspections:- Daily inspection of billets, Intrines, kitchens, stables and eurroundings will be made by Btry. Commander. One officer from ench Btry will inspect the mania and supervise the issue of #nto to determine the suitability 0.8 to quality and quantity. The surgeons * 111 inspect latrines billots, kitchens, etc. reporting to this office to hother Excellent, Good Fair, etc. For Saturday morning inspection the packs will be Inyed out for inspection according to pera. 747 I. D. R. Band - One day each week in the afternoon the Band W 111 be eent to the Bn. alternately for sotice in playin both on the march and at the halt.The Band will practice daily in addition thereto.
