I. ADDITIONAL MILITARY POLICE COMPANY.
The Additional Military Police Company recently organized
in this Division, is in accordance with telegraphic instruc tions
from Headquarters Second Army, February 6th, 1.91,9 designated the
273 Military Police Company.

No. 27, War Department, 1918, organizations from which men were
transferred to the 275rd Mili BIY Police Company, will turn over
a proportionate part of the Compony fund to the new orgenization.
The order cited is published for the e guidônce of all

concerned:
"Rule to detormine proportionate part of company fund
for transfer from an old to a new organization.
X. Whon men are transferred from en organization having
a company fund to a new unit which is being organizad; a proport-
ionate part of the company fund of the old organization will be
transferred to the new, the amount to be determined as follows
Determine the actual value of the company fund on the
last day of the month preceding the date of transfer. This value
will be determined by adding to the actual balance shown on hand
when the funds were audited on the last day OI the month by the
company council any amounts, such as unpaid post exchange divid-
ends, actually due on that date. This sum will be decreased by
the total of the outstanding obligations of the company on that
date. A list of the above assets and liabilites will be certified
to by the compeny commander in the company council book. This
amount will be multiplicd by a fraction whose numerator will "be
the number of men transferred, and whose denominator will be the
actual strength of the organization prior to the transfers on the
date OI transfer. No attempt will be moãe to transfer a pro rata
share of any post exchange stock in which the old organization
may have an interest. When the amount to be transferred under
the above plan is less than $10, no transfer will be made, and a
letter stating the reason why no transfer of company funds was
made will be submitted to the commanding officer of the new organ-
