The Division Commander takes great pleasure in citing
in General orders Second Lieutenant Xavier Marin, Field Artillery,
French Army, attached to the 130th Field Artillery, United States
Army, for the exhibition of gallantry, great devotion to duty and
in spite of physical illness, energy in the performance of his
duties, during the Argonne Offensive in September, 1918. His
services were of great value in the training of officers and men
of the regiment to which he was attached.
