DEED OF RELEASE WHEREAS, in the deed executed by the undersigned, Edward P. Gates, Executor of the last will and testament of George W. Gates, deceased, as grantor, to Margaret C. Moulton, now deceased, as grantee, dated February 13, 1893, and filed for record February 15, 1893, and recorded in Book 194 at page 298 of the deed records of Jackson County, Missouri at Independence, there was reserved and secured to the undersigned a vendor's lien upon the real estate described in said deed to secure to the undersigned the payment of two notes described 1/2 in said deed, executed by said Margaret C. Moulton to the un- dersigned as such executor, of even date with said deed, one due on or before one year after its date for the sum of $1500, and the other due on or before one year after its date for $1555; and, WHEREAS, the aföresaid notes have been fully dis- charged and satisfied, and at the time of such discharge and satisfaction were held and owned by the undersigned as execu- tor as aforesaid; NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, the undersigned, Edward P. Gates, Executor of the last will and testament of George W. Gates, deceased, does hereby can- cel, discharge, release and satisfy the vendor's lien reserv- ed and secured as aforesaid, and does hereby release and quit claim unto the heirs and assigns of said Margaret C. Moulton forever the real estate mentioned and described in the deed to said Margaret C. Moulton hereinbefore mentioned, to-wit: Beginning at a point 56 poles west and 10 poles south of the northeast corner of Section 2, Township 49,
