My dear Mr. Clancy:
I have your letter of February 4, to which
was attached e letter dated Januery 31 from Maury
Maverick, Jr. I have read both with interest.
Considering the time that has elapsed, I
decided that it might be better to send E copy of the
Maverick letter direct to Speaker Rayburn, and this
I have done. I return Maury's letter to you, together
with a copy of mine to the Speaker.
