April 26, 1948 7-19 My dear Congressman Multer: I read your letter of the twenty-first with a great deal of interest and I sincerely wish that I could reply categorically to each one of your questions at this time, We are trying our best to work out a program in the United Nations that will bring peace and X 85-A happiness to Palestine and it would not be right or proper for me to make comments on that situation until we accomplish the purpose which x20 4 we are working for, and that is peace in Palestine.
