12-7 "fife 286-A Kendallville, Indiana. December 5, 1949. The Honorable Edward H. Kruse, Jr. House Office Building, x Washington, D. C. Dear Mr. Kruse: The So-Sew Club, twelve members, is against federally controlled compulsory health insurance and all the principles which it embodies. Members of this club believe medical care will deteriorate and doctors will lose personal initiative under government rules and regimentation. Further, the members believe that prepayment med- ical, surgical and hospital insurance plans, now available to all and already adopted by 55 million individuals, are adequate to meet the risk of catastrophie illness. The So-Sew Club has gone on record against any form of compulsory health insurance or any system of political medicine and urge that you use your authority to prevent such legislation from becoming a reality. Thank you. Most sincerely, SO-SEW CLUB Of Kendallville, Indiana. Mrs. H.E Westfbal President much R.Pierce Secretary NITIONAL ARCHINES AWD SERTICE N
