inside and outside the profession. Herewith are two examples of what's
happening:

DOCTORS WRITE CHAIN LETTERS FOR TAFT
"Vie must organize thoroughly--we must work unselfishly--
we must support Senator Taft in every possible way"
Ohio "Physicians Committee for Taft"
Every physician in Ohio should contribute money to re-elect
the Senator, says the "Physicians Committee for Taft." Its aim: to
organize a physicians' group in each of the 88 counties of Chio,

campaigning with "special literature, radio and newspaper messages,

group meetings, and intensive work by representatives in the field. "
COVERNMENT
The medical brethren of Ohio are not limiting their efforts to
that state. Believe it or not, doctors in other states are asked
to beg money for Taft's campaign by chain letters. Here is a
copy of a begging letter sent to a physician in an Eastern state,
by a fellow practitioner. The writer said he had just sent the
letter to 9 other physicians and asked his friend to write, himself,
