GEN. VAUGHAN
10 April 1950
Dear Mrs. Brown:
Your recent letter addressed to me in Key
West reached there after I had returned to Washington.
I received it this morning and will refer it to the
Census Bureau with the request that you get every
x59-BB -
consideration. Some of the Government Bureaus resent
Whi te House interference so I have to use discretion
not to do your case more harm than good.
Sincerely,
AND
RECORDE
HARRY H. VAUGHAN
Major General, U. S. Army ( Res)
Military Aide to the President
