Memorandum for File:
In accordance with Mr. Dawson's
instructions I called President Mitchell of
Civil Service and advised that in reply to
Mr. Richardson's request of October 27, 1948,
in connection with David J. Saposs, David
Kinkead, and Jesse Epstein that "no information
should be given to that Committee" (Senate
Committee on Expenditures in the Executive
Departments).
