Dear Mr. Work:
The President asked me to thank you for
your kind letter and for the suggestions that you
enclosed.
The President has, of course, stated pub-
licly that he would abide by the decision of the
Supreme Court in the steel case. I am quite sure
that that will continue to be his attitude when
the decision is finally made.
