My dear Beth:
The recent letter from Sally Reagan
and yourself has been received and you may be
sure that your interest in writing is appreciated.
I am sorry to advise you, however, that the Presi-
dent is so busy these days with official duties
it is impossible to bring queries such as yours
to his attention. I am sure that you will under-
stand.
Very sincerely yours,
WILLIAM D. HASSETT
