Professor Warren B. Walsh
Director, Syracuse University
Rumor Clinic
Maxwell Hall
Syracuse, New York
Dear Professor Walsh:
Your recent letter to Mr. Sweetzer has been
referred to this Division for reply.
I am enclosing the material that may prove
most helpful in discussing the coffee shortage.
I am trying to assemble materials in connection
with the other rumor you included. It is sug-
gested that if these rumors have serious circu-
lation in the Syracuse region, a major educa-
tional program be developed, rather than a
specific refutation of the rumors.
I hope you will find this material of use.
Sincerely yours,
Lucien Warner
Chief, Special Services Division
