PRE most 1170 February 26, 1947 Dear Mr. Keith: I appreciated very much your letter of the eighteenth and I sincerely wish I could say right off the reel that I could address the graduating class of William Chrisman High can School at commencement time but, as you # know, it just inn't possible for me to make firm appointments at any time. I have always hoped that I would be able to address the graduating class of William Chrisman High School sometime or other. If I am in Independence at any time between now and that date I 11 try and discuss it with you but don't count on me for sure because you never can tell what is going to happen to take up the time of the President of the United States. 720 I am sorry it is that way but it can't be helped. Sincerely yours, HARRY S. TRUMAN Mr. L. G. Keith xA Superintendent Independence Public Schools Independence, Missouri PP725
