Wrote to the President enclosing clipping from Maryville Daily Forum on April 21, 1949,
re Dr. Uel W. Lamkin, who was taken to a hospital after falling in his home. Attaches note
in pen urging President to keep up the good work as the Democrats are backing him 100%.---On
4/26/19 the President wrote Dr. Lamkin saying he hopes his fall was not serious and that he
will recover send. Note in longhand: My best to Mrs. Lamkin.--- 4/26/49 the President
wrote Mr. Robey thanking him for his note and the clipping. Thanks him for his longhand note
and hopes he continues to feel the same way.
