Hyde Park Dutehess County New York December 23, 1947 Dear Mr. President: This is just to tell you that I read your committee's report on Civil Rights and thought it very good. *596-A While I am writing about this, I want to tell you how very courageous I thought your message was on the Marshall Plan. I am coming to Washington on the 12th of January and hope very much you will have sone free time on the 13th, as I should like to report to you on the Human Rights Commis- sion session. x85-a Human With every good wish to you and lechmission hights Mrs. Truman and Margaret for the New Year, I am, i the Very cordially yours, Transon Rossevelt
