Aboard the President's Train
October 8, 1952
Dear Dr. Gigliotti:
I cannot thank you enough for all the com-
plimentary things you felt inclined to say in your
good letter to me. You were indeed very generous in
XPP71-A
your words of praise for the courtesies and fullhearted
cooperation rendered by all whom you had occasion to
contact in the White House office during your term as

National Commander of the Regular Veterans Association

of the United States. I am also delighted with your
kind words about General Gray and members of his Staff.
XPP7564
I shall certainly bear in mind your cordial
invitation to come to San Diego sometime and go fishing

at the Coronado Islands.
You have my gratitude for your prayers and my
good wishes for your future welfare.
Very sincerely yours,
(Sgd) HARRY S. TRUMAN
